Abstract : Recently, cryptography has motivated an explosive growth in the family of algorithms for translating endomorphism ideals to isogenies between elliptic curves. In this talk, I will survey known results on the topic, categorizing and summarizing the state-of-the-art methods, so that it will hopefully be easier for practitioners to keep track of the vast set of existing ideal-to-isogeny algorithms.
